Crochet Baby Afghan Using The Afghan Stitch

I have now made three of these baby afghans.  When doing this I feel like I am making two because with this stitch you first crochet ahead and then back again.  I  do like the finished results though.

I saw my mother making these one day and I just had to have some for myself.  They work really well.

I made this purse for myself when I worked in a hospital.  When some of the other staff saw it I ended up making a few more.  It is lined with a calico material.
